主讲人简介：
Christian Wagner, Chair Professor of Social Media, City University of Hong Kong
Christian Wagner is Chair Professor for Social Media at the City University of Hong Kong, as well as Associate Provost (Quality Assurance) and Acting University Librarian. Professor Wagner has over 20 years experience in the research of the role of information systems to improve decision maker performance. He has published well over 100 articles, including in Management Science, Journal of Management Information Systems, and MIS Quarterly. Wagner is and awarded winning researcher and teacher.
报告提纲：
Online advice has become a prominent phenomenon, whether in the form of “Likes”, endorsements, or product evaluations. This research explores the impact of such online advice on decision maker beliefs (posterior probabilities). The study explores the strengths’ of friends’ advice vs. that of others and explores peoples’ biases in processing online advice. The research then draws conclusions for research and practice on how to use these new findings.
