报告内容摘要:
Remanufacturing is the process of disassembling used products, inspecting and reworking the components, and using these in new product manufacturing. A product is considered remanufactured if its primary components come from a used product (after ensuring that they are functional) (Majumder and Groenevelt, 2001). Remanufacturing has numerous benefits for the manufacturer, include: savings in labor, material and energy costs; shorter production lead times; balanced production lines; new market development opportunities; a positive, socially concerned image. As for Hong Kong and the Mainland, the market for remanufactured products is still in the start stage. It is necessary to stimulate the remanufacturing industry via government financial intervention.
In our study, we mainly research three problems: (1) To examine the effects of government subsidy as a means to promote remanufacturing activity, and identify the best subsidy option for the government to stimulate the remanufacturing activity. (2) To introduce the government producing tax that based on product design, and derive the conditions under which the OM will choose high remanufacture ability in product design. (3) To derive the conditions for manufacturer to implement trade-in policy voluntarily in remanufacturing system.
