【报告内容摘要】
1、Due to the rapid development of sensing and computing technologies, multiple smart sensors have been widely used in healthcare management to simultaneously monitor the health status of human. Such a data-rich environment creates an unprecedented opportunity to better understand the degradation behavior of the physiological systems and make accurate inferences about the health status through remote diagnosis. Since data collected from sensors displays non-stationary and nonlinear behaviors, data analytics including advanced statistical techniques, data mining and machine learning algorithms have provided an essential tool for healthcare process monitoring and prognostics. This talk will focus on the generic data-driven approaches to constructing an effective health index that based on sensor data to better characterize the health condition of human. The health index can then be used to support smart service decision, which will lead to: (i) closer monitoring of a people’s health status; (ii) quicker healthcare event detection; (iii) pre-diagnosis of health condition for better future healthcare management.
2、随着互联网技术的发展，我们能够获取的信息总量以指数级别增长。然而我们分辨甄选信息的能力并没有提高，大部分信息都是暗信息（我们有可能对某些信息感兴趣，但却无法看到这些信息），这就是所谓的信息过载问题，也是目前互联网发展中遇到的最棘手、最重要的问题。针对这一问题，推荐系统、链路预测应运而生，本次报告首先简单介绍这两种技术的背景定义及应用场景，然后介绍本人的相关工作，主要包括：负分在推荐中的作用、冷边的预测以及有向网络中的预测算法等，最后以食谱网络为例讲解网络化的研究视角在大数据时代的新应用。
